Google accused of age discrimination
A lawsuit filed last week by a fired Google manager says the company has created a culture that discriminates against older workers and fosters morale problems.
Google denied the allegations and said Reid’s complaint was without merit. The company said it would defend itself against the charges, but declined to comment on why Reid was laid off.
Google has widely depicted itself as a progressive employer since its founding almost six years ago.
