London, April 20 2002 - Ethical Corporation magazine, the fastest growing business publication dedicated to corporate social and environmental responsibility, announced today that 200 multinational companies and organisations are set to participate in a conference in London at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel.

The Ethical Corporation Europe 2002 conference on April 24, 25 and 26 will provide companies with practical advice on how to manage social and environmental responsibility and measure ethical performance.

Companies are increasingly being driven to act on ethical issues as a result of campaigns by non-governmental organisations, the media, changing stakeholder expectations, the desire within companies to ensure their activities are socially responsible, the growing awareness of work conditions in their supply base, and emerging government legislation.
